Clarity & confidence
Make sense of what you want, what is getting in the way, and what a good next chapter could look like.
Hello, I’m Ufuk. I offer warm, practical life coaching and career coaching for professionals who are navigating change, at work, at home, or somewhere in between, in Amsterdam or online.
We start from where you are and work with real situations in your day to day life and work.
Make sense of what you want, what is getting in the way, and what a good next chapter could look like.
Think through a new role, career change, interviews, promotion, job move or a period when you feel professionally stuck.
Prepare for leadership, strengthen your presence, handle pressure and communicate with more confidence.
Find a healthier rhythm, work with pressure and create boundaries that support both performance and your personal life.
Navigate the professional and personal side of building a life in a new country or adapting to a different culture.
Notice the beliefs, habits and reactions that show up across work and relationships, and experiment with new ways forward.
The focus can change as the work develops. These are four useful starting points, not boxes you have to fit into.
For senior professionals navigating visibility, complexity, pressure, responsibility and their next leadership chapter.

I have been working in multinational organizations for 15+ years, leading international teams from 20+ nationalities across Europe, Middle East and Africa, working through transformation and change, and speaking at professional conferences have brought a close understanding of the pressures and possibilities that come with a demanding career.
Outside work, I'm raising a child abroad with my beautiful other half. That has brought its own questions about family, identity, belonging, ambition and what a good life should look like. Living between cultures can make some decisions more complicated, while also opening up perspectives that were not always visible before.
I work full time in a leadership role at a multinational company, so I intentionally coach only a limited number of individuals outside of working hours. This allows me to give each coaching relationship the attention, preparation and space it deserves.
Coaching is personal. The first conversation is a chance to talk about what is happening for you, what you would like to change and what you are looking for in a coach.
It is not a sales call. It is a short coaching conversation where both sides can experience the approach and see whether working together feels right.

ufuk@ufukbalcicoaching.comCoaching is a personal relationship. The first conversation gives you a chance to see how the coaching style feels, ask questions and decide whether there is enough trust and chemistry to continue. It also gives the coach a chance to assess whether the relationship is a good fit from their side.
Then there is no pressure to continue. The right coaching relationship matters too much to force. It is completely reasonable to speak with other coaches before making a decision.
No. Many people arrive with a situation, a feeling that something needs to change, or a question they have not yet been able to formulate clearly.
Sessions will be planned according to our schedules. As I work full-time in a corporate role, I have limited slots available for new clients.
For ongoing coaching, sessions are typically 60 minutes every two or three weeks, with the exact rhythm agreed around the coaching goal and practical needs.
Yes. Coaching is available online worldwide, with in-person sessions possible in Amsterdam and nearby areas where practical.
Yes. Coaching conversations are treated as confidential, subject to the applicable professional, legal and ethical boundaries. Where an organisation sponsors coaching, the confidentiality arrangements are agreed clearly at the start.
Yes. Coaching can be sponsored through an employer's leadership, learning or professional development budget. The practical arrangement and what, if anything, is shared with the organisation should be agreed before the coaching begins.
Potential conflicts are discussed openly. If the coaching relationship would create a genuine conflict with another professional responsibility, another coach may be the more appropriate option.
Coaching is a structured, forward looking thinking partnership. Mentoring and consulting generally involve more direct advice or expertise sharing. Therapy focuses on mental health treatment and clinical support. Coaching is not a substitute for therapy or medical care.
Results depend on the situation and on how actively you engage with the process. Common goals include greater clarity, stronger decision making, more confidence, better leadership choices and practical movement on an issue that has been keeping you stuck.
